DRB Dynamics, Suretilt by Dale Hill

A clear indication when every degree matters.

At DRB Dynamics™, we develop practical sensor solutions for the challenges operators face every day. Our technology is designed to make important information easier to understand, helping people make faster and more confident decisions in high-pressure environments.

Key Features

  • At-a-glance indication

A simple green, yellow and red visual system makes the trailer’s tilt status easy to understand.

  • Visible from the side-view mirror

The indicator is positioned to support convenient visibility from within the truck cab.

  • Sensor-based monitoring

SureTilt™ uses sensor technology to monitor trailer tilt and translate the information into a practical visual signal.

  • Designed around the operator

The system is intended to complement an operator’s existing procedures by presenting relevant information without unnecessary complexity.

  • Developed from industry experience

SureTilt™ was created in response to challenges encountered in mining and trucking environments.

FAQ

SureTilt™ is designed to make the trailer’s level easier to monitor by converting sensor information into a clear visual indication. A light positioned so that it can be seen through the truck’s side-view mirror displays a simple green, yellow or red signal. SureTilt™ has been developed with one central principle in mind: important information should be visible, understandable and available when the operator needs it.

How SureTilt™ Solves Failures

  • What is SureTilt™?
SureTilt™ is a patent-pending system designed to give operators clear, real-time awareness of a trailer’s tilt level during tipping operations to help reduce stress and prevent rollovers.

  • How does it communicate tilt status?
It uses an intuitive traffic-light system – Green (safe), Yellow (approaching threshold), and Red (threshold reached/exceeded) – translating sensor data into a simple visual reference without complex numbers.

  • Where is the indicator located?
The indicator is positioned to be viewed directly through the truck’s side-view mirror, allowing operators to check the tilt status without looking away from the trailer or operating environment.

  • Why use lights instead of an in-cab screen?
In-cab screens add unnecessary complexity and distract the driver. A side-view mirror light keeps the trailer and the tilt status within the same viewing area.

  • Is it easy to install and affordable?
SureTilt™ is designed as a straightforward, cost-effective alternative to complex existing systems by focusing solely on essential tilt information rather than heavy equipment.

  • Does it replace operator judgment?
No. SureTilt™ is an awareness tool that supports decision-making, but it does not replace operator training, judgment, site procedures, or safety requirements, nor can it guarantee zero rollovers.

  • When will it be available for purchase?
SureTilt™ is currently moving toward commercial application, and DRB Dynamics™ is actively welcoming inquiries from potential licensees, manufacturers, and commercial partners.
